Checkers embarked on a journey with Summit to train and upskill our Fresh Food Controllers and Fresh Food Managers in all our stores nationally.

We started with a pilot project in Gauteng and due to the success of this project we decided to roll out further in Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Free State and KwaZulu Natal for both Checkers and Shoprite in the Free State as well. We are confident that the training will uplift food hygiene in the kitchens, correct knife skills and reduce wastage. One of the chicken dishes used on training was implemented in a store and was sold out in one day. We are happy that Summit identified training that matches the specific needs of our staff and business goals and changed the Assistant Chef programme to suit our business requirements.

Summit Learner Management System

We designed a learner management system (LMS) that is relevant to any industry. SUMMIT provides a turnkey learning management solution (LMS) which can be used effectively, efficiently and creatively in order to deliver, track and measure training with your staff.
